I had a good deal on this hotel when I booked early, about a 20% discount compared to the other Marriot hotels that I stay in. It is of course in a great location, especially to CIB and an easy walk to Cindy's too. The room was spacious with a good layout, the bed and the bedding very comfortable (and a good size for company) with decent storage and a desk area too. No additional sofa like you find at the Mercure on Soi 11 though. The bathroom had a bath but nothing supplied to add to it, the shower was small and awkward to get into and with a fixed head which was annoying. The sink plug didn't work either. The gym was basic, but not the worst (dumbells only and up to 50lbs) and the swimming pool small. I didn't bother with breakfast or go to the bar. It does have a good cut through out the back to Asok station which was useful. Overall, I think this is a pretty average hotel for the price and compared to other (comparable) Marriot hotels. I didn't really take advantage of the location to bring LBs back (only twice) so others might value the location more, but I think you can get better value elsewhere. I won't be back and will stick with Phrom Phong or Chit Lom in the future.

I have stayed there a few times, it is guest friendly. Just know that they are strict with your guest leaving their ID at the reception. -

I’ve booked this place Paradiso Boutique Suites. For February 2025. lets hope they are guest friendly. The video review I seen on YouTube was old. no pool though. Anyone know if I could use a pool near by? -

Park Hyatt is the most convenient but getting back there in traffic sux that road that runs thru Sukhumvit is hell. But as already suggested Hyatt Regency is good and much better location -

I used points to stay at Park Hyatt about 2 years ago. It is your typical Park Hyatt, very very nice but a bit snooty (the guests, not from the staff). It's about a 20 minute walk down to the heart of the LB triangle or get on Ploenchit BTS for 1 stop to Nana which will take almost the same time after going up the stairs, buying a ticket, go up the stairs to the platform. just miss a train and waiting a few minutes for the next one. Like all International branded hotels they are guest friendly with no judgement You have to walk through the middle of reception area (desks on both sides) to get to the elevators and most times I walked through there were loads of guests loitering around. Staff never said anything, didn't ask for id from my guest but you definitely got some stares from the other guests but who cares. When I stayed there was some sort of economic forum on so the hotel was full of many Thai officials and international business people on a junket. If you looking to use/earn Hyatt points then I recommend Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit (half the price), which in my opinion is not your typical 'Regency' much better! And the best location on corner of Soi 13.
