    • Park Hyatt is the most convenient but getting back there in traffic sux that road that runs thru Sukhumvit is hell. But as already suggested Hyatt Regency is good and much better location
    • I used points to stay at Park Hyatt about 2 years ago. It is your typical Park Hyatt, very very nice but a bit snooty (the guests, not from the staff). It's about a 20 minute walk down to the heart of the LB triangle or get on Ploenchit BTS for 1 stop to Nana which will take almost the same time after going up the stairs, buying a ticket, go up the stairs to the platform. just miss a train and waiting a few minutes for the next one. Like all International branded hotels they are guest friendly with no judgement You have to walk through the middle of reception area (desks on both sides) to get to the elevators and most times I walked through there were loads of guests loitering around. Staff never said anything, didn't ask for id from my guest but you definitely got some stares from the other guests but who cares. When I stayed there was some sort of economic forum on so the hotel was full of many Thai officials and international business people on a junket. If you looking to use/earn Hyatt points then I recommend Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit (half the price), which in my opinion is not your typical 'Regency' much better! And the best location on corner of Soi 13.
    • All 3 are undoubtedly excellent hotels but as you probably know aren't ideally located for mongering so if that's the primary reason for your trip there's better options. If you're in BKK for other reasons and don't mind taking the journey to the nightlife areas then you'll be happy with the choice. If you want to spend the night in the LB bars though I'd choose elsewhere, on Sukhumvit. All 3 are well located for other things except mongering though so I'd base the choice on location and your prime reason for being in BKK. I have only stayed at one of the 3 - the Rosewood and the stay was quite brief as it was a last minute substitute for my regular business hotel and wished I'd stayed longer. It's quite likely somewhere I'll return if looking for a hotel in that area, the building itself is remarkable and the design throughout makes it somewhere I was happy to stay in more than wandering around even though it's in a nice part of town. I had a p4p LB guest there, initially for a ST but she was keen to stay all night then the next night too due to the opportunities to get dressed up and post pics on instagram. We were both very comfortable in the bars and restaurant there, even though she's fairly obviously a LB there were no issues at all as she dressed well. It ended up costing quite a lot as we ran up the type of food and drink bill that make you extremely grateful for expense accounts. They're not at all cheap there and on top of that I feel it's a reasonable expectation that your ST/LT rate will be slightly higher due to inconvenient location and the general expense of the hotel itself - she might feel it's fair to expect a little bit more. It's actually easy to get to the nightlife from this hotel by BTS, it's just 1 stop to Nana from Ploen Chit and that station is attached to the hotel so it can be done no problem even if the location itself is quite different. As for the Park Hyatt, haven't been to their Bangkok hotel but I've never stayed in a bad Park Hyatt, always excellent. No experience of Waldorf Astorias though, it'll no doubt be good.
    • Since its BKK of course all 3 properties have promptly written back that guests are welcome and no fee, but just wanted to hear if anyone had experience being at any of those 3 places? I will definitely be at Park Hyatt next month and likely a quick stint at Rosewood as well.
    • Looks like a decent hotel, I like the big tub in one of the suites, and the idea of getting their 2 bedroom with a buddy seems interested. Might give it a try next month if I do I will be sure to report back maisonhotelbangkok.com
